The management took care of us. The room we stayed in was very clean. Only a short distance to Restaurant Flora, where you can have lunch.
-
Its excellent value for money. The view was pretty here. The snack bar onsite.
-
Without exception, all staff very courteous, helpful and friendly. Beautiful main building with interesting history and sympathetic restoration. Guests free to look round all the rooms without restriction. Terrific views over Rome and surrounding area from the front of the main building. Useful and flexible courtesy minibus to Frascati all day and evening on demand. Coach house annexes comfortable, spacious, quiet, well-serviced and clean.

It's the best hotel I've ever visited! It's amazing, the ideal place to live in! A stunning views, vintage design, perfect location, helpful staff, delicious food. So if you want to feel yourself like a member of a noble family it is a right place to stay at.

The location was not ideal for a visit to the city of Rome as it involved a 30min train journey, but as a relaxing holiday in beautiful surroundings I would reccomend. The hotel staff were excellent and the room was very nice and clean. We did not use the hotel to eat in at night so I cannot comment, but the breakfast buffet and service was excellent.I would use the hotel again, but not as a location to base a visit to Rome sightseeing.

The hotel offered unforgettable beauty and excellent services. We love the hotel, the location of it and the lovely Frascati town.

Very secluded romatic getaway... Lovely views of the hills and the city of Roma below... Luxurious!
Many of the inhabiltants of the countryside have hunting dogs which howl all night when they hear noises. That woke us up often.

Nice, beautiful building, but we could not sleep in the main building. Our Bedroom was fine. Restaurant poor quality but nice service.
Poor quality, old bed. Wifi only in the lobby. Restaurant expensive and unfortunately poor quality. Would recommend the hotel but not the restaurant.
-
Beautiful hotel, snow prevented a chef and a barman, but we enjoyed our stay very much even tho we had to stay 3 days longer than intended. For the price I beleive its good value.
-
Location with respect to access to Rome and relaxed atmosphere.
Little light on service but very friendly. This is more likely a result of the focus on banquet bussiness resulting in under staffing. I still enjoy staying there at a fair price. Breakfast is great.
-
Great room especially the bathroom. Great dinner, decent breakfast. Competent and friendly staff, I would return.
-
Beautiful historic building with an amazing view.
The bed mattresses are too soft and very unconfortable. The hot water depends on a boiler, so you might have to take a cold shower if you do it at the end of the day.
-
Nicely situated, nice view on Rome Valley from the hotel terrasse, very quiet, birds waking you up nicely in the morning. The little castle and its garden are charming. The rooms are ok, particularly when looking price vs quality. I went twice, for 100 to 120 euros per night, breakfast included and I will certainly go back.
-
No hot water for shower in the evening. water piping clogged and staff could not help. I do not know how other guests in the hotel dealt with that...
history of the hotel. loved the experience to live in an old mansion. cost very little to enjoy such luxury.

The hotel is in a nice location above Rome and close to Frascati town. However, as always the small things cause a problem. The hotel is renovating some rooms in the annex and there is some noise and dust. The hotel don't warn you about this and when questioned on Friday they said no work would take place at weekends. However, having been woken up at 8am by the noise of an electric saw on Saturday morning clearly means the hotel was lieing. Rusty water coming from the bath taps was not acceptable, and worst of all the shuttle bus left us in Frascati on the Sunday evening, meaning a 3km uphill walk on pitch black roads. How did the hotel respond to all of this? We are sorry, it should not have happened. No real apology. When checking out I heard another guest complain that a maintenance worker came in to their room at 9pm without knocking. Overall a hotel in nice grounds but let down by a sloppy attitude. Not really worth the 100€+ per night in my opinion.
